Wired Martial Arts was born a couple of years ago from an idea that intersects sports, technology and passion - in the mind of a software engineer training for a Taekwondo competition. Based on his experience of attending and managing tournaments, Jasper Chow understood the administrative burden of these events and could see how an online solution could be just the thing to simplify tournament management, save time and effort.
WiredMA is an online system that helps simplify tournament management and organisation. Tournament organizers can promote tournaments; collect entry forms; categorise competitors and create draw sheets all in one place. Competitors save time on registration; can track their performance results and find out more about future competitions.
How does it work?
The main service on offer is an Online Tournament Registration System. It let's all instructors and students submit their entry details online, which will then produce a spreadsheet output with all of the competitors details, neatly broken down by category. The competitors details are then saved on the system and so there's no need for the competitors to re-enter all their details every time.
It saves a huge amount of time for both Tournament Organisers (collecting and categorising competitors) and for Instructors/Students (gathering and submitting entries).
